Eagle Retreats

A safe place filled with peace for your self-growth. Self- growth is easy on the land in Tennessee called "Eagle's Nest."  It is a great place to touch Mother Earth--for an hour, an afternoon and/or a weekend.  It is a great place to explore one's self and world. Planned activities use the newest scientifically proven techniques for self-growth along with other "medicine" such as Native American approaches (sweat lodges and vision quests in a non-denominational base). See Announcements for times and places of activities.

Viola Woelfl, chief and spiritual leader of the Onaweha tribe, (part of the Commache nation) adopted Mary Clement into her tribe. Several years later, in a special ceremony in August, 1999, she gave Mary her own physical mantel of healing to go along with Mary's spiritual gifts of healing and named her, Nemenos, meaning, "of the people."

Healing in Tennessee and in Bimini!

Bimini Islands Healing Adventures
June 18 - 22, 2009

Edgar Cayce famously spoke of the Gold Consciousness of Atlantis embedded in the sands of Bimini.

This summer will be your chance to walk these sands and enjoy healing experiences for five delicious days and four beautiful nights on this magical island of Bimini in the Bahamas.

Swim with the Dolphins

We've planned some remarkable adventures--both spiritual and exciting--for those who can join us this summer.  Swim with the rare spotted dolphins in the ocean and become connected to the universe.

Watch as your aches and pains -- and your cares and woes -- dissolve as you splash and soak in Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth.  Bask in sun, water, sea, sand, and sky.  Enjoy delicious meals and ocean wafted sleep.  Take part in our boat trips, and our special seminars and presentations.  Enjoy a private session or two from expert therapists.  Get healing for yourself as you give it back to the planet.

We are thrilled that the famed explorer and author of "The Lost  Outpost of Atlantis", Richard Wingate, will be joining us. It was Richard who discovered what is surely the famous Fountain of Youth, not in Florida after all, but a fabulous white-sulfur spring, flowing into an ancient 20-by-40-foot bathing pool, engineered with many aqueducts back in antiquity. Richard had the water tested and found high levels of the valuable minerals lithium and magnesium, both with healing benefits. Be sure to bring a handful of clean copper pennies when you take your swim, as the healing water "alchemizes" copper to a bright, "Atlantean" crimson.

Ms. Mary Clement at the Healing Hole

This spring is so gently powerful that it energizes even the most skeptical bather.  Although we cannot claim any particular health results from swimming in the water, the Biminians call this pool "The Healing Hole" and they believe it has a mysterious, magical power or spirit to it.

As one of the locals, Bonefish Johnson, puts it, "It done made lotsa sick folks betta, mon, en do it speedy!"

Despite the hundreds of visitors who have claimed fabulous healings in these waters, and the amazing stories told by the bone-fishermen, who will transport us to the site and who swear by these waters, please remember that the organizers of this trip cannot guarantee a healing experience. We can only relate that hundreds have claimed dramatic, and often instant, benefits.

Your trip includes your double-occupancy accommodations at the South Bimini Yacht Club, where our seminars and presentations will also be held. Also included are breakfast buffets and lunches, the excursion boat trip to the Healing Hole, and a chartered boat, with guides, for the dolphin swim. The Integral BreathworkTM seminar, a truly remarkable learning and self-healing experience, will be taught by Denis Ouellette (www.integralbreathwork.com) over two evenings for a total of six hours. This is also included in the fee, as well as presentations from Mary Clement, Ph.D., and Richard Wingate. The white sands and clean beaches are free!

The price DOES NOT INCLUDE airfare from your home to Fort Lauderdale, the taxi from Fort Lauderdale International Airport to the Executive Airport (about $25 one-way), and the taxi from the Bimini Airport to the South Bimini Yacht Club, and back to Bimini airport (about $3, one-way). Dinners are on your own, and are available off the menu at the club, or in town. Tips for the boat crew, maids, cooks, etc. are appreciated. Bring your own snorkeling equipment, or you can rent it from the many dive shops on the island.

WHAT TO BRING: You must have a valid passport that contains your picture. (Non-US citizens should check with the proper authorities for the necessary documents and visas. Americans don't need a visa to visit the Bahamas.)

Travel lightly. Forty pounds of luggage are allowed on the charter flight, with an extra charge for overweight. Dress is casual. The Bahamas in June typically vary between a daily high of 87 degrees to a nightly low of 76 degrees. Bring two swim suits, shorts, tee-shirts, a pair of slacks or a skirt, rain gear, tennis shoes, sandals, several bath towels, personal hygiene items, sun screen, mosquito repellent, any medications, camera and film. Bimini has to import all of its food and products, so the import tax can make things expensive. Bring all that you think you will need and declare them at customs as "personal items."

"Bring an open mind and heart. Be ready to experience your past and your future in the beautiful present. Rediscover your breath, and your love of life. Open yourself to healing and to a brighter future!"

For money, remember that Bimini is like a huge American Dollar Store -- everything is paid in American dollars. Bring at least $100 in cash or traveler's checks, and have credit cards for island shopping (not all merchants take credit cards).  Bring single dollars for the ferry-boat rides. There are also golf carts that you can rent for $15/hour to tour the rest of the seven miles of the island. (Customs limits American purchases to $800.)

TRAVEL ITINERARY: Plan to arrive in Fort Lauderdale (FL) the night before so that we can all fly out together at 10 a.m. on Bimini Island Air from the Executive Airport. If you cannot, then there is a seaplane, Chalk's, at 1-800-424-2557, or fly Bimini Island Air, at (954) 938-8991. Remember that these special planes usually fly from the Executive Airport, which is about 20 minutes, or a $25 taxi ride, from where you landed, via commercial airline at the Hollywood Ft. Lauderdale Airport.  If you need assistance in planning the itinerary, travel arrangements, or finding an overnight stay in Ft. Lauderdale, call our tour guide, Mary Clement, at (615) 206-1553.

Get travel and trip cancellation insurance from your travel agent or purchase it directly. Access America, at 1-800-729-6021, or Travel Insured International, 1-800-243-3174, are two widely used agencies. Bobby of Scuba Bimini (tour arranger) will permit us another date to come if there is a hurricane (very unlikely) but he will not refund our money. Get the trip insurance, and pray for good weather -- and for the arrival of dolphins!

The contact phone number for Bobby of Scuba Bimini and the South Bimini Yacht Club is (954) 524-6090.
